Terms of service

These terms apply to your use of amondomodelcar.myshopify.com and to every order placed through it. The store is operated by Eemondo Model Cars, a sole proprietorship owned by Koji Maeda, registered in Osaka, Japan. By placing an order you accept these terms.

Products

We sell collectible scale model cars, mainly in 1/18, 1/43 and 1/12 scale. They are display models for adult collectors, not toys, and are not suitable for children under 14. Photographs are supplied by the manufacturer or taken from the same production batch; small variations in colour and in the position of parts are normal, and manufacturers occasionally change details without notice. Boxes may show shelf wear.

Prices and payment

Prices are shown in the currency of your market and include our handling. Shipping is added at checkout; import duties and taxes are treated as described in our Shipping Policy. We may change prices at any time, but the price shown when you place your order is the price you pay. Payment is taken at checkout through Shopify Payments or PayPal.

Orders and availability

Your order is an offer to buy. We confirm it by email and it becomes a contract when we dispatch the item. Most models are ordered from our supplier after your purchase, so stock shown on the site reflects our supplier's stock at the time of your visit. If an item turns out to be unavailable, or if the price or description contained an obvious error, we may cancel the order and refund you in full. We may also limit or refuse orders that appear to be placed by resellers or that we cannot ship to the address given.

Delivery and risk

Delivery terms are set out in our Shipping Policy. Risk passes to you when the carrier delivers the parcel to the address you gave us.

Returns

Your right to return an item is set out in our Refund and Return Policy, which forms part of these terms. Nothing in these terms limits the statutory rights you may have as a consumer in your country.

Intellectual property

The manufacturers named on this site own their brand names, model names and trade marks; we use them only to identify the products we sell. The text and layout of this store are ours and may not be copied for commercial use.

Liability

We are responsible for delivering the item you ordered in the condition described. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for delays caused by carriers or customs, or for any loss of collector value. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Japanese law. Disputes that cannot be settled between us will be heard by the Osaka District Court, without affecting any right you may have to bring a claim in the courts of your own country of residence.
